Make sure users achieve what they need with minimal effort and maximum efficiency
We conduct usability review in a team comprising QA, Usability Engineer, and a Designer/UX. This helps us look at the product from different perspectives. We generate reports on our findings like ‘Flow’ starting from new registration, buying a product, display of error messages to how the real estate for a software is used.
The work we do makes a huge impact on the final product.
Make software intelligent

For example if you are selecting a set of rectangles on complex grid and you are not getting count of selected squares, the software is not intelligent. We go into such details.
Make users jobs easier and faster, analyze primary users needs

Primary users are the people who will use the product most. Our engineers determine the kinds of tasks they do and how frequently they do them. Recently we designed a range of touchscreen apps for desktops. We did a lot of research to identify how will users use this large format device for day to day tasks like writing a note with finger and adding a video to it .
Focus on how users perceive and manipulate the various software tools

Usability engineers go beyond making software user-friendly. Our engineers understand how people learn and remember, how they sort through data, what steps they take when building something or how how will they search music using touchscreen by just writing with a finger:)
We challenge our teams with creating real life experiences in a virtual world. For example buying music online experience better than real world. Well, this challenge helped us design a music store of touchsmarts (desktops).
Manipulate and perceive software tools
How a 65 year old will use a touch tablet is different from how than his/ her grandson will use. Out team go to these individuals to gather needs, skill level, understand their environment and then test softwares around that.
Efficient software doesn’t require excess mental play

The user should not be made to remember too many details. A good software should be able to predict what users will want to do next This helps increase efficiency. Our experts work towards identifying and removing issues that affect customers. Issues range from overall format—such as the layout of screens—to specifics about color and icon style. These go beyond aesthetics. For example, certain screen layouts are less confusing and certain colors immediately draw attention.
